Festive Avo-Shrimp Bites







Step 1

Pre heat oven to 375°F. Combine 1/2 tsp salt, lime zest, and chili powder in small bowl.

Step 2

Spray large baking or cookie sheet with non-stick spray or olive oil. Lay shrimp on cookie sheet and spritz again with the non-stick spray or oil. Sprinkle chili mixture over raw shrimp. Bake 8-10 minutes or until shrimps turn pink and curl in on themselves.

Step 3

While the shrimp are in the oven, combine diced avocado, lime juice and remaining 1/2 tsp salt in small bowl. In a different small bowl, combine sour cream and sweet chili sauce.

Step 4

Assemble your shrimp taco bites by placing 1/2 tsp of sour cream mixture, followed by a teaspoon of avocado mixture in a tortilla chip, a then top with a chili-lime shrimp.

Sprinkle with the chopped cilantro.


  • 24 large raw shrimps, peels and tails removed
  • Non-stick cooking spray or olive oil spray
  • 1 tsp salt, divided
  • 1 tsp grated lime zest
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 large Chilean Avocado, diced
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1-2 tsp sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped cilantro
  • 24 tortilla chip scoops
