Try a fresh new take on your holiday cocktails this winter!
flesh of 1 avocado cut into chunks
4 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
2 ounce Cointreau
3 ounces light agave syrup
6 ounces silver tequila
3-4 cups crushed ice
optional: mixture of fresh lime zest and kosher salt for rim; lime slices for garnish
In a standing blender combine avocado, lime juice, Cointreau, agave, and tequila. Blend until smooth.
Finally, add crushed ice, and pulse to combine. Serve in margarita glasses, rimmed with fresh lime zest and/or kosher salt. Place a thin slice on lime on the rim.
Drink right away.
